Sunday Video: Networks, Graphs, Data Sharing

In this video today, I will talk about how to share data. In our everyday lives, we share data – pictures, documents. But when it comes to product development, to share data is not easy.

OpenBOM developed a unique technology that allows you to instantly share product data and all related information. So, your co-workers, contractors, and suppliers will get access to the right data at the right time and with the right context.

OpenBOM data management platform is using a graph database to manage all semantic relationships between pieces of product information – BOM levels, related attributes, etc. So, granular access to data is possible

Conclusion

Data sharing is extremely important. OpenBOM gives you a unique way to share the data in real-time with or without updates. Combined with revision control mechanism and granular data sharing, you can provide access to contractors and suppliers at the right moment of time. These days it becomes even more important as companies are looking for more suppliers to scale up production (Eg. medical equipment) or looking how to shift suppliers to different geographies to move from COVID-19 lockdowns.

Please all stay safe and enjoy the weekend.
