Technical Pre-Sales Executive

OpenBOM is looking to continue our growth plans by hiring a sales executive. In this remote sales role, you will use your understanding of engineering and sales to provide demos and technical support to all prospects. The position is 100% remote. You can work from any place aligned with North America time zones. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Technical, engineering, or manufacturing-based background 
  • Experience with CAD and PDM systems 
  • Practical experience in CAD systems (must – SOLIDWORKS, any others is an advantage – Onshape, Autodesk Fusion 360, Altium, PTC Creo Parametric, NX, CATIA) 
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales 
  • Good presentation skills in English
  • Experience in using a CRM software
  • Understanding of PLM concepts

Digital Marketing Manager – Remote

To join the sales and marketing team. We are looking for someone who is native in digital marketing skills to work on OpenBOM digital outreach marketing strategy, content, and social media channels. You will work with the company’s co-founder and CEO. Your goal will be to develop marketing content, work on marketing campaigns, and reach out to potential customers.

Requirements:

  • Technical, engineering, or manufacturing-based background
  • Experience with CAD and PDM systems

Senior Software Engineer – Back End (Global)

Skills and experience we’d like you to have:

  • Experience building web apps and APIs using Java. It’s great if you have Scala and Python experience too.
  • Experience with Java/Scala-based frameworks: Spring, Akka, Jersey, Apache Struts
  • Strong database savvy-ness – NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Neo4j), RDBMS
  • Experience building web services or REST APIs
  • Some exposure to cloud (we use AWS), agile scrum and agile tools (Github, JIRA)
Product Manager and Technical Support (Global)

Skills and experience we’d like you to have:

  • Experience in engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP and related products and disciplines
  • Product management experience working for one of CAD or PLM vendors before
  • Hands on knowledge and experience of one of the following products is a big plus – SOLIDWORKS, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor, Onshape, CATIA, NX, Creo
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud products is a plus
  • Experience with product marketing and social networking
  • Experience with technical support online
  • Willingness to work for startup and geographically distributed team
  • Location can be anywhere, but preference for North America and New England.
