Heads up: Multi-level rollup and catalog seamless data sync

One more preview of improved collaborative data synchronization between BOM levels, with roll-up formulas and catalogs. The same as a preview from yesterday – Catalog to BOM real-time collaborative updates, this improvement will provide instant data updates between levels, formulas, and catalogs.

This change is part of our user experience improvements and an essential step in OpenBOM improvement to eliminate all unnecessary refreshes and reloads of the browser with the Bill of Materials.

Check the video to see the demo. I hope you will like it.

Conclusion

User experience is important. OpenBOM is taking data collaboration in BOM structures and related information to completely next level. Teams, contractors and suppliers can work simultaneously on different elements of the data while OpenBOM will take care of instant data update in different views and browsers.

Our goal in the coming release is to eliminate all needs to refresh the browser regardless on what type of work you do.

Best, Oleg @ openbom dot com.

PS. If you missed our information, for a limited time, OpenBOM is free for all engineers and manufacturing teams working hard to produce PPE, medical equipment and all other products needed to fight COVID Check more here.
