Heads up: Catalog to BOM real-time collaborative updates

Imagine you work with OpenBOM and you have a catalog and few BOMs open in multiple browsers. Also, one of your colleagues has a BOM open in the browser. You made an update of the catalog. Until now, you should have been refresh the browser to see updated catalog data. Kind of annoying. You complained about it and we fixed it.

I’m excited to preview a new function from the coming OpenBOM release. It is a function that was requested by many users and customers – to update data from a catalog in Bill of Materials instantly in all open browsers with Bill of Materials using this catalog. Until now, you needed to refresh the browser with the BOM, which was not cool.

In the coming release, all changes you do in a catalog(s) will be instantly updated in all open browsers that have Bill of Materials pointing to the catalog(s). Simple and easy.

It is an essential step in OpenBOM improvement to eliminate all unnecessary refreshes and reloads of the browser with the Bill of Materials.

Check the video to see the demo. I hope you will like it.
